Deadline: 9/30 11:59 PM Join us on a guided adventure Bioblitz through Golden Gate Park!🌲🌿What is a Bioblitz? A bioblitz is like a nature scavenger hunt where people work together to find and record as many living things as they can — like plants, animals, bugs, or fungi — in one place, over a short time (usually a day or weekend).It’s a mix of science and fun:Scientists, students, and regular people all join in.You might use a phone app to take photos or log what you see (such as inaturalist or Seek).The goal is to learn what lives in an area and help study biodiversity (which means the variety of life).Get ready to dive into the wild side of Golden Gate Park! In this program, we will get familiar with Golden Gate Park’s curious creatures, fantastic fungi, and colorful plants — all part of what makes San Francisco a true biodiversity hotspot.
