2024 Honors Convocation | San Francisco State University
The Honors Convocation is San Francisco State University's public and formal way of recognizing those students who have achieved academic excellence at SF State. The deans of each department recognize the academic excellence, intellectual rigor, creative ingenuity, and community service of their respective students, congratulating them and presenting them with their certificates. This year's event was held May 23, 2024, in SF State's McKenna Theatre.Chapters:

- 2:00Bay Area Television ArchiveBased in the J. Paul Leonard Library at San Francisco State University, the Bay Area Television Archive features more than 135,000 videos from Bay Area television stations. A visit to the new Bay Area Television Archive website is a YouTube-like rabbit hole of a time machine dedicated to the issues and events that gripped the region decades ago — including speeches by Martin Luther King and Maya Angelou’s entire KQED-TV series “Blacks, Blues, Black” from 1968 — rediscovered and restored by SF State staff member Alex Cherian after not having been seen for decades. Best of all, SF State students can use the archive for free.
