- Sep 2412:00 PMSol Patch Open House πΈJoin us at our Sol Patch Garden Open House to start gardening, meet new people, and learn about our program. Free snacks provided! The Sol Patch Open House is a welcome event for the fall semester to invite members of the SF State Community from across all departments to come together in the garden. Firstly, this event is to inform the community about this resource. The Sol Patch Garden fills a need many have expressed, whether it is for a community, an opportunity to be in nature, or to garden, but don’t know where to find it. After an introduction session, and brief training, attendees will work together to prepare the garden for the growing phase through weeding and starting seedlings. They will be surrounded with music, educated about various plants, and fed with some snacks after their hard work. This event is a step towards my goal of building a community surrounding the garden, which offers healing not just through the powers of nature, but through the powers of connection. π Wednesday, Sept. 24th β° 12PM - 2PMHosted by: Associated Students Environmental Resource CenterAdditional Information can be found at: https://sfsu.campuslabs.com/engage/event/11697853
