Join us at our Sol Patch Garden Open House to start gardening, meet new people, and learn about our program. Free snacks provided!  The Sol Patch Open House is a welcome event for the fall semester to invite members of the SF State Community from across all departments to come together in the garden. Firstly, this event is to inform the community about this resource. The Sol Patch Garden fills a need many have expressed, whether it is for a community, an opportunity to be in nature, or to garden,  but don’t know where to find it. After an introduction session, and brief training, attendees will work together to prepare the garden for the growing phase through weeding and starting seedlings. They will be surrounded with music, educated about various plants, and fed with some snacks after their hard work.
