Deadline: 10/7 11:59 PM Take a tour of the Mission District's spectacular murals! Dubbed the Heart of the City, the Mission is home to a melting pot of cultures and San Francisco history. These vibrant walls paint stories of resilience, resistance, and love that tell the tales of the Mission District of San Francisco and beyond. This adventure will be a few miles long across notable mural alleys and led by our trip leaders who have done lots of research about the murals being able to provide in depth knowledge of the art. Join us on this urban neighborhood crawl to not only experience the murals, but getting a sense of the history and culture that thrives in the Mission. The VETS@SFSU organization is celebration the U.S. Navy's 250th Birthday on Monday, October 13 in Burk Hall 153 at 12:00pm. All students, dependents, veterans, and all those apart of the veteran community are welcome. This is a potluck style event, bring any of your favorite foods to share we would greatly appreciate it.
